Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for phased array antennas and related subsystems.
- Conduct mechanical analysis and electronics packaging.
- Utilize CAD tools for mechanical design and analysis.
- Perform requirements definition and architecture trades.
- Oversee manufacturing and testing of mechanical designs.
- Present engineering design materials to customers and executives.
- Participate in proposal-writing efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in space antenna and payload mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Ansys Mechanical and SolidWorks Simulation.
- Experience with CNC manufacturing and GD&T.
- Familiarity with satellite thermal architectures and environmental conditions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience in Python, C++, or programming languages.
