Responsibilities
- Lead the development of power system architectures and derive power subsystem requirements.
- Design DC-DC power converters and power supplies ranging from a few watts to over 20 kW.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of power supplies, including worst-case circuit analysis and reliability analysis.
- Develop design verification test plans and system integration test plans.
- Lead board bring-up and design verification testing of power electronics circuits.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead a small team of power electronics engineers.
- Drive project execution and oversee production release of power systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in designing analog and power electronics.
- Experience with electrical power systems and subsystems.
- Proficiency in designing and testing AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies.
- Knowledge of control theory and stability in power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electronics.
- Familiarity with analysis and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
