Responsibilities
- Work on a multi-disciplinary team for the development and deployment of robotics products.
- Architect, design, analyze, test, and support robot/vehicle structures and systems.
- Lead component and system level qualification test design and execution.
- Manage initial production builds with the manufacturing team.
- Engage with customers to ensure designs meet their needs.
- Own Standards and Compliance documentation for designed products.
- Collaborate with vendors to source components and manage production processes.
Job Requirements
- 5 to 12 years of experience in mechanical design and production.
- Proficiency in CAD and analytical tools (Solidworks and Ansys Mechanical).
- Experience with various manufacturing processes and materials.
- Ability to design for harsh outdoor environments.
- Strong prototyping and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with compliance standards and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
