Responsibilities
- Develop lightweight, high-performance satellite deployable structures.
- Design and analyze structural components through various development phases.
- Manage CAD assemblies and drawings for the deployable structures group.
- Support prototype assembly and testing of proto-flight builds.
- Develop build documentation and drawings from hardware.
- Support systems engineering with mission concepts and proposals.
- Provide input at program reviews and technical interchange meetings regarding deployable hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with CAD (Solidworks) modeling and managing CAD assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to execute in a fast-paced prototype environment.
- Hands-on development and test experience with hardware.
- Mechanism design experience.
- Experience with design of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
- Understanding of flight build practices and experience with composite structures.
