Responsibilities
- Assist with PPAP project support.
- Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues.
- Participate in 8D project studies.
- Update documentation for systems and floor operations.
- Conduct SPC studies.
- Assist in plant floor layout design.
- Conduct time studies and process cycle time improvements.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- Ability to reliably commute to the Bellwood, IL plant (not remote).
- Experience showing mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles.
- Willingness and desire to learn and work both independently and in a team setting.
