Responsibilities
- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
- Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Provides producibility information for inclusion in project plans and documents best practices.
- Leads analysis of design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 7+ years of experience establishing manufacturing build plans.
- 7+ years of experience in a production-focused engineering role.
- 7+ years of experience with tooling and/or manufacturing operations processes.
- Experience working with NASA, commercial space, or related DOD programs (preferred).
- Experience in a lead role as a manufacturing technology analyst or planner (preferred).
- Ability to obtain access to a NASA facility.
