Responsibilities
- Develop production asset requirements and complex design solutions.
- Validate technical data and influence product design.
- Lead creation and modification of equipment and tooling definitions.
- Execute project plans and collaborate with Procurement for program targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead gated reviews and develop production readiness plans.
- Conduct studies for asset investments and maintain configuration of asset hardware and software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience with integrating complex systems and tooling.
- 3+ years of experience in production asset design.
- Experience in ground support equipment and tooling engineering preferred.
- Proficient in using CAD systems (e.g., Creo, CATIA).
- Ability to obtain clearance for access to NASA facilities.
- Must meet export control compliance requirements as a “US Person.”
