Responsibilities
- Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis for E3 performance optimization.
- Achieve Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring, and structures.
- Interface with manufacturing and coordinate with suppliers for system compatibility.
- Support project management by coordinating work statements, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop and implement Test Automation for aircraft modifications.
- Document and solve complex EMI engineering problems.
- Process engineering data into tables and graphs for reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or physics.
- Familiarity with Electromagnetic concepts like RF isolation, shielding, and filtering.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- 5 or more years of related work experience.
- Preferred: ABET accredited degree in electrical engineering or advanced degrees.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC standards.
- Experience with EMI qualification testing for aircraft LRU’s.
