Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate advanced future propulsion systems.
- Collaborate with teams to address propulsion performance gaps.
- Conduct engine cycle and performance analyses.
- Apply testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools.
- Plan and conduct propulsion tests, including various types of testing environments.
- Participate in mentorship and development programming.
- Build a professional network through events and activities.
Job Requirements
- Completed first year of PhD studies by July 2026.
- Pursuing a PhD in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Experience with propulsion performance modeling and analysis tools.
- Understanding of propulsion cycles, thermodynamics, and gas dynamics.
- Knowledge of propulsion architectures.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026.
- Experience with NPSS and MATLAB is preferred.
