Responsibilities
- Develop concepts for future subsystems/components to meet anticipated requirements.
- Ensure technical and quality compliance of subsystems/components.
- Manage non-recurring engineering (NRE) technical execution for subsystem/component development.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert on assigned subsystems/components.
- Lead closure of component/subsystem non-conformances through the lifecycle.
- Coordinate assembly, integration, and testing of fluid systems.
- Perform safety assessments of fluid designs and define requirements for flow components and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Typically 2 or more years of related work experience or equivalent technical education.
- Preferred: Completion of a Tier 5 Investigation (T5) by the federal government.
- Understanding of functional requirements in coordination with systems engineering.
- Experience with liquid or electric space propulsion and thermal control systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work onsite at the El Segundo, CA location.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
