Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts for future subsystems/components to meet anticipated requirements.
  • Ensure technical and quality compliance of subsystems/components.
  • Manage non-recurring engineering (NRE) technical execution for subsystem/component development.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert on assigned subsystems/components.
  • Lead closure of component/subsystem non-conformances through the lifecycle.
  • Coordinate assembly, integration, and testing of fluid systems.
  • Perform safety assessments of fluid designs and define requirements for flow components and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Typically 2 or more years of related work experience or equivalent technical education.
  • Preferred: Completion of a Tier 5 Investigation (T5) by the federal government.
  • Understanding of functional requirements in coordination with systems engineering.
  • Experience with liquid or electric space propulsion and thermal control systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to work onsite at the El Segundo, CA location.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
