Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality production, development, test, integration, and manufacturing tooling.
  • Utilize mechanical design concepts and principles for various projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpret and apply design and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5) in creating drawings.
  • Address technical design challenges related to machining and assembly fixtures.
  • Collaborate with the product team to optimize cradle-to-grave metrics.
  • Participate in all aspects of the tooling lifecycle, including concepting and commissioning.
  • Set and maintain schedules to ensure project completion.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in design, build, and commissioning of tooling and fixtures.
  • Experience with high-quality production and test tooling development.
  • Proficiency in CAD and FEA software (preferably Creo and ANSYS Workbench).
  • Strong collaboration skills with component designers and manufacturing engineers.
  • Ability to perform structural analysis and hand calculations.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
