Responsibilities
- Evaluate suitability and stability of current and potential suppliers regarding quality and technical capability.
- Maintain Blue’s Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Lead suppliers in resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Validate corrective action effectiveness and containment for supplier actions.
- Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
- Participate or lead supplier audits and corrective action activities.
- Focus on nonconformance reduction activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or manufacturing processes.
- 7+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in supplier quality engineering.
- Experience in AS9100/AS9120 auditing.
- Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong time management skills and self-initiation.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
