Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, develop, and test primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic parts.
- Create 3D models, detail part drawings, and assembly documents.
- Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
- Offer technical guidance for integration and configuration development.
- Develop test plans and specifications for flight hardware.
- Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, and data analysis.
- Maintain and report on activity schedule, budget, and technical status.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with structures in automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles.
- Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Ability to maintain professional relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Knowledge of structural mechanics principles and finite element analysis.
- Experience with the full product lifecycle from design to production.
