Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire design cycle including system architecture and requirements derivation.
- Conduct structural analysis and design for metallic components and assemblies.
- Support manufacturing and integration processes.
- Identify and implement design changes to improve system reliability.
- Participate in verification audits and component testing.
- Coach and mentor other specialists and team members.
- Utilize 3D CAD programs for mechanical design and integration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of aircraft or launch vehicles.
- Proficiency in structural analysis methods including Finite Element Analysis.
- Strong skills in mechanical design using 3D CAD software.
- Excellent attention to detail and task ownership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for commercial space industry and human spaceflight.
