Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the hardware lifecycle from requirements to integration.
- Design, analyze, and test primary and secondary structures.
- Conduct research and perform trade studies.
- Create 3D models, part drawings, and interface control documents.
- Develop test plans and documentation for flight hardware.
- Provide technical guidance and support for manufacturing and integration.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams for material and process selection.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering and 6+ years of experience in structures.
- Experience with aircraft or launch vehicle structures.
- Proficiency with analysis codes like Ansys and Nastran.
- Strong understanding of composite and metallic design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (preferably Creo/Windchill).
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
