Responsibilities
- Full ownership of New Glenn Stage One structural component design
- Develop, release, and maintain a full CAD and drawing engineering definition package
- Prioritize and drive procurement activities to support vehicle build schedules
- Provide engineering support to production and integration
- Support integrated test objectives, data review, and reporting
- Identify concepts for New Glenn upgrades and improvements
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Interest in aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structural design
- Familiarity with structural analysis techniques and fundamentals
- Proficient in mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD software
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5)
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships
- Experience with FEA analysis codes and aerospace structural hardware ownership is desired
