Responsibilities
- Design and analyze fluid systems for the New Glenn rocket.
- Support detailed mechanical design and requirements definition.
- Contribute to layouts, component selection, and modeling.
- Draft engineering drawings with GD&T specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards during integration.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers.
- Take ownership of engineering tasks and operate with minimal supervision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in aerospace structures or mechanical systems design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, preferably Creo.
- Experience in engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Ability to maintain positive relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies or pressurized systems preferred.
