Responsibilities
- Translate engineering drawings into fully functional hardware.
- Define preparation methods for hardware testing and qualification.
- Develop and deploy new manufacturing methods to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
- Create manufacturing work instructions for various processes.
- Manage cost, quality, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 10+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Proficiency in engineering software (CAD, PLM, etc.).
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and industry quality systems (e.g., AS9100).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Experience with Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA).
- Physical ability to support production activities and lift 40 lbs.
