Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on, real-world experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Collaborate with Blue engineering teams on projects.
- Support the development and fabrication of mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems.
- Integrate design for manufacturing, test, operations, and materials & processes.
- Receive mentorship and feedback from managers and mentors.
- Participate in organizational events to learn about different departments.
- Document and include co-curricular and research experiences on the resume.
Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylum seeker.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining.
- Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation.
- Available to work full-time during the internship.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for space and relevant technical experience in product design or manufacturing.
- Exposure to GD&T and DFMA is desired.
