Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on, real-world experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Collaborate with Blue engineering teams on projects.
  • Support the development and fabrication of mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems.
  • Integrate design for manufacturing, test, operations, and materials & processes.
  • Receive mentorship and feedback from managers and mentors.
  • Participate in organizational events to learn about different departments.
  • Document and include co-curricular and research experiences on the resume.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylum seeker.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining.
  • Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation.
  • Available to work full-time during the internship.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for space and relevant technical experience in product design or manufacturing.
  • Exposure to GD&T and DFMA is desired.
