Responsibilities
- Manage a team of systems engineers, fostering career development and performance improvement.
- Control technical baseline elements for the Crew Lander, balancing requirements with cost, schedule, and risk.
- Manage requirement and interface definition, validation, and control.
- Oversee system safety definition and analysis across vehicle systems.
- Define and execute verification, validation, and certification for Crew Lander systems.
- Establish tools and best practices for System Engineering and Integration.
- Implement agile project management for team deliverables to support integrated vehicle goals.
Job Requirements
- Experience managing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and development.
- Expertise in applied System Engineering and Integration, including functional analysis and risk management.
- 5+ years managing technical teams with responsibility for leading and coaching.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
- Minimum B.S. degree in engineering, computing, or a related technical field.
- Experience with the full lifecycle of development for space missions.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and Model Based System Engineering approaches.
