Responsibilities
- Manage a team of systems engineers and foster career development.
- Control technical baseline elements for the Crew Lander, balancing requirements, cost, schedule, and risk.
- Manage requirement and interface definition, validation, and control.
- Oversee system safety definition and analysis across vehicle systems.
- Define and execute verification, validation, and certification for Crew Lander systems.
- Establish tools and best practices for System Engineering and Integration.
- Implement agile project management for the team.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Experience leading integrated technical teams to deliver complex systems.
- Subject matter expertise in applied System Engineering and Integration.
- Minimum of 5 years managing technical teams or leading functional groups.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with space vehicle mission operations and system-level V&V campaigns is preferred.
