Responsibilities
- Lead hardware, embedded software, and systems engineering teams developing communications terminals.
- Define product architecture across various technical domains.
- Drive execution from prototype to high-volume production.
- Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams for component selection and design transfer.
- Establish program plans, technical milestones, and risk management strategies.
- Own system-level integration and validation for hardware and firmware.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in hardware and embedded systems development.
- Proven success in bringing complex hardware products from prototype to mass production.
- Strong background in RF design, embedded systems, and production test.
- Experience with contract manufacturers and design transfer.
- Familiarity with Linux-based embedded platforms and firmware update mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related engineering field.
