Responsibilities
- Support initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation.
- Electrical design and modification of industrial control and safety systems.
- Design and modification of PLC and Robot programs.
- Design of process control systems (e.g., Torque Tools, Machine Vision).
- Design and development of data collection solutions.
- Support the development of SCADA applications (e.g., Ignition, Kepware, AWS).
- Collaborate with data-science and analytics teams to enhance manufacturing systems through IOT analytics.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years experience with common automation software development languages (e.g., Ladder, ST, C/C++).
- 6+ years experience with controls and automation software development environments (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Control Logix).
- 3+ years experience with 'from scratch' software development for automated tooling or equipment.
- Ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong skills for design and process simplification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
