Responsibilities
- Design, install, and check mission-critical communications systems for telemetry data, video, and voice during rocket launches.
- Manage and troubleshoot RF communication systems in maritime environments.
- Establish procedures for verifying requirements and specifications against communications hardware.
- Recommend and apply information security processes for mission-critical communications systems.
- Develop and maintain configuration control and inventory of RF communications assets.
- Create detailed documentation, including functional and logical diagrams, for mission communications systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (electrical engineering, physics, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience as a communications systems engineer.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status.
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships.
- Experience with SATCOM, microwave LOS, or RF communications systems (desired).
- Active or eligible for National Security Clearance SSBI (desired).
