Responsibilities
- Design, install, and check mission-critical communication systems for telemetry, video, and voice during rocket launches.
- Manage and troubleshoot RF communication systems in maritime environments for launch and landing operations.
- Establish verification procedures for communication hardware through testing to ensure interoperability.
- Recommend information security processes to maintain the integrity of communications systems.
- Develop and maintain configuration control and inventory of RF communications assets.
- Create detailed documentation for mission communications systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (electrical engineering, physics, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience as a communications systems engineer.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Ability to earn trust and maintain professional relationships.
- Desired: 3+ years of experience with SATCOM or RF communications systems.
- Desired: Active or eligible for National Security Clearance SSBI.
