Responsibilities
- Design, install, and checkout mission-critical communications systems for telemetry data, video, and voice during rocket launch environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot RF communication systems in maritime environments for launch and landing operations.
- Establish verification procedures for communication hardware through testing to ensure interoperability.
- Recommend information security processes to ensure the integrity of mission-critical communications systems.
- Develop and maintain configuration control and inventory of RF communications assets.
- Create detailed documentation, including functional and logical diagrams for mission communications systems.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a communications systems engineer.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee or asylee.
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships.
- 3+ years of experience with SATCOM, microwave LOS, or RF communications systems is desired.
- Active or eligibility for National Security Clearance SSBI is preferred.
