Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and enforce quality system processes in production.
- Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
- Integrate quality applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
- Perform reviews and approve manufacturing build documents.
- Conduct periodic audits of the quality system according to AS9100.
- Interface with internal and external customers on quality concerns.
- Develop training materials to enhance quality awareness.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering/Science.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 quality management systems.
- Ability to support manufacturing schedules and overtime as needed.
- Desired certifications include Certified Quality Engineer and Six Sigma.
- Experience in aerospace or military/commercial aviation preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as Lean and root cause analysis.
