Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain quality system processes for production.
- Measure and analyze quality system performance against organizational goals.
- Facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with cross-functional teams.
- Review and approve manufacturing documents and nonconformance records.
- Conduct periodic audits of the quality system in accordance with AS9100.
- Interface with internal and external customers regarding quality concerns.
- Develop training materials to enhance quality awareness among staff.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering/Science.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 quality management systems.
- Ability to support manufacturing schedules and overtime as needed.
- Desired certifications include Certified Quality Engineer and Six Sigma.
- Experience in aerospace or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
