Responsibilities
- Support thermal, vibration, shock, and vacuum testing of rocket engine components.
- Author and maintain detailed test plans and procedures.
- Define, procure, setup, and maintain test fixtures and support equipment.
- Oversee environmental testing of components within test facilities.
- Conduct data reviews and prepare reports for component qualification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive development schedules.
- Ensure component standardization across programs where appropriate.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or relevant field.
- 2+ years of applicable experience in component development and testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis and processing techniques.
- Experience with data acquisition and automation systems (Python, LABVIEW, etc.).
- Knowledge of fluid components such as valves and regulators.
- Passion for spaceflight and space exploration.
