Responsibilities

  • Support thermal, vibration, shock, and vacuum testing of rocket engine components.
  • Author and maintain detailed test plans and procedures.
  • Define, procure, setup, and maintain test fixtures and support equipment.
  • Oversee environmental testing of components within test facilities.
  • Conduct data reviews and prepare reports for component qualification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive development schedules.
  • Ensure component standardization across programs where appropriate.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or relevant field.
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in component development and testing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and processing techniques.
  • Experience with data acquisition and automation systems (Python, LABVIEW, etc.).
  • Knowledge of fluid components such as valves and regulators.
  • Passion for spaceflight and space exploration.
