Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of pump systems for the Lunar Lander.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and quality in engineering designs.
- Design components such as shafts, motors, bearings, and pump rotors.
- Utilize 3D CAD programs and Finite Element Analysis tools for design purposes.
- Create engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
- Communicate effectively with external parties, including government and commercial entities.
- Ensure compliance with all engineering standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pump design.
- Proficient in 3D CAD and FEA tools.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site with occasional travel.
- M.S. in relevant engineering field is desired.
- Experience in integrating pumps in space vehicle applications is a plus.
