Responsibilities
- Develop tooling for production, development, test, integration, and manufacturing for Blue Engines and New Glenn.
- Integrate mechanical design concepts across various projects.
- Interpret and apply design and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5).
- Address technical design challenges related to assembly fixtures and test fixtures.
- Collaborate with component designers and manufacturing engineers for optimal metrics.
- Manage projects, including vendor selection and equipment installation.
- Maintain schedules and budgets for project completion.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of experience with tooling and fixtures for manufacturing and assembly.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software (preferably Creo and ANSYS Workbench).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
- Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Familiarity with industry standards and common manufacturing processes.
