Responsibilities
- Develop production, development, test, integration, and manufacturing tooling.
- Integrate mechanical design concepts and principles across various projects.
- Interpret and apply design and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5).
- Address technical design challenges for assembly fixtures and custom machines.
- Collaborate with component designers and manufacturing engineers.
- Manage tooling projects including vendor selection and fabrication.
- Maintain schedules and budgets for project completion.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of experience in tooling and fixture design for manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software (e.g., Creo and ANSYS Workbench).
- Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Familiarity with industry standards and custom machine design.
- Experience with CAD/PDM systems and structural analysis tools.
