Responsibilities
- Design, install, modify, analyze, repair, and support mechanical systems hardware.
- Support integration activities and resolve roadblocks to facilitate tasks.
- Release and support engineering artifacts throughout the product life cycle.
- Research and analyze design proposals and specifications for feasibility and maintenance.
- Specify system components and ensure conformance with engineering design specifications.
- Investigate equipment failures to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance crews and provide technical information.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in designing aerospace or equivalent mechanical systems.
- Strong skills in mechanical design and integration using 3D modeling tools.
- Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Knowledge of fabrication and quality control processes for mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently on rapid development programs.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
