Responsibilities
- Design, install, modify, analyze, repair, and support mechanical systems hardware.
- Support integration activities and resolve roadblocks to facilitate tasks.
- Release and support engineering artifacts for hardware fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Evaluate customer design proposals and specifications for feasibility and maintenance.
- Specify system components and ensure conformance with engineering specifications.
- Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions to maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with a team to impact systems design and project management.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in designing aerospace mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical design and integration skills with 3D modeling tools.
- Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Knowledge of fabrication and quality control processes.
- Ability to work independently on rapid development programs.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
