Responsibilities
- Lead the design of fluid systems for the New Glenn launch vehicle.
- Engage in all levels of the design cycle including conceptual design and structural analysis.
- Build engineering documentation such as schematics and design reviews.
- Utilize 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred) and FEA tools (ANSYS preferred).
- Conduct component and system level testing and data analysis.
- Manage projects including vendor management and scheduling.
- Apply creative solutions to complex problems involving high-pressure systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace mechanical system design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and FEA tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace hardware.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
