Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and tooling for launch vehicle structures.
- Identify opportunities for vertical integration to improve cost efficiency and design agility.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability of vehicle components.
- Participate in Design Gated Reviews to incorporate DFM and DFT principles.
- Develop tooling concepts considering ergonomics, safety, and maintainability.
- Introduce advanced manufacturing techniques into production workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement on manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or tooling design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
