Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and tooling for launch vehicle structures.
  • Identify opportunities for vertical integration to improve cost efficiency and design agility.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability of vehicle components.
  • Participate in Design Gated Reviews to incorporate DFM and DFT principles.
  • Develop tooling concepts considering ergonomics, safety, and maintainability.
  • Introduce advanced manufacturing techniques into production workflows.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement on manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or tooling design.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling development.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
