Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans, procedures, and policies.
- Employ Design for Excellence (DfX) principles to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of products.
- Manage projects aimed at process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Introduce new technologies and methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and guide early career manufacturing engineers and production staff.
- Ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on the aerospace industry.
- Proven leadership in managing complex projects throughout the product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and quality systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software, MES, and ERP systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
