Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into fully functional hardware.
  • Define preparation processes for hardware testing, qualification, and flight.
  • Identify and develop new manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes.
  • Manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 7+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in developing new manufacturing processes.
  • Strong written and technical skills with software proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
