Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into fully functional hardware.
- Define preparation processes for hardware testing, qualification, and flight.
- Identify and develop new manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes.
- Manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 7+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing.
- Proven experience in developing new manufacturing processes.
- Strong written and technical skills with software proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
