Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify necessary tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Develop manufacturing plans for new products, including build plans and tool lists.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Facilitate the transition from development to production, including troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T.
- Proficient in CAD software (Creo or CATIA V5).
- Strong written and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
