Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
  • Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
  • Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) from generation to closure.
  • Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new product introductions.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment during the transition from development to production.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing (3+ years for Level II, 5+ years for Level III).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals, including GD&T.
  • Proficiency in technical software (CAD, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with building flight hardware preferred.
  • Experience in the design or production of launch vehicles or spacecraft is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
