Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) from generation to closure.
- Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new product introductions.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment during the transition from development to production.
Job Requirements
- Experience in aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing (3+ years for Level II, 5+ years for Level III).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals, including GD&T.
- Proficiency in technical software (CAD, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware preferred.
- Experience in the design or production of launch vehicles or spacecraft is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
