Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Design material handling and packaging to protect hardware during the build and test process.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree throughout the build and test process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with hardware manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to develop compliant processes with industry quality systems.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
