Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment.
  • Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
  • Define and support repair and rework activities.
  • Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Design material handling and packaging to protect hardware during the build and test process.
  • Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree throughout the build and test process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with hardware manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to develop compliant processes with industry quality systems.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
