Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for harness and sensor fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration.
- Manage quality, build sequences, and schedules throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Create accurate material handling and packaging to protect hardware.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing including GD&T.
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Proficiency in CAD software and tools relevant to manufacturing.
- Knowledge of instruments and tools for troubleshooting and measurements.
