Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for harness and sensor fabrication, assembly, test, and integration.
  • Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
  • Define and support repair and rework activities.
  • Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
  • Maintain strong communication with a customer-focused approach.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
  • Ability to manage manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
  • Experience in collaborative teamwork across large geographic distances.
  • Strong technical skills in software (CAD, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industry quality systems such as AS9100.
