Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for harness and sensor fabrication, assembly, test, and integration.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
- Maintain strong communication with a customer-focused approach.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
- Ability to manage manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
- Experience in collaborative teamwork across large geographic distances.
- Strong technical skills in software (CAD, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry quality systems such as AS9100.
