Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper material handling and packaging to protect hardware.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Experience managing manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and authoring work instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographic distances.
- Proficiency in CAD and other software tools.
- Experience with quality systems such as AS9100 is desired.
