Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Generate, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Support the introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plans and artifacts.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure quality and safety in manufacturing processes.
- Maintain positive relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Prior internship experience in relevant manufacturing fields.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Proficient with CAD software and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Preferred hands-on experience with building flight hardware and 2+ years in engineering.
