Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes including fabrication and assembly.
  • Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
  • Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
  • Define and support repair and rework activities.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Design material handling and packaging to protect hardware.
  • Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree throughout the build process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
  • Experience with hardware manufacturing in various systems (e.g., mechanical, avionics).
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop processes compliant with industry quality systems (e.g., AS9100).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
