Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
- Prioritize hardware procurement and communicate these priorities to the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
- Ability to manage manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
- Strong collaboration skills across teams.
- Proficiency in technical software (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, etc.).
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
