Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent, drawings, models, and configurations into fully functional hardware.
- Support shop floor production activities across multiple shifts.
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes.
- Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
- Identify and deploy new manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or similar industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to support production floor activities and work off-shift if necessary.
- Proficiency in CAD and various software tools.
- 6-8+ years of manufacturing and engineering experience preferred.
- Master’s Degree in relevant fields is a plus.
