Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent, drawings, models, and configurations into fully functional hardware.
- Support shop floor production activities according to Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) priorities.
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes.
- Perform engineering drawing review and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
- Identify and deploy new manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies to strengthen feedback between design, build, and test.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 6-8+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to support scheduled work shifts and physically support production activities.
- Proficient in CAD and other software tools.
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive systems.
- Ability to lead other engineers and teams effectively.
