Responsibilities
- Define fluids component requirements and negotiate interfaces.
- Generate and present component details in vehicle design reviews.
- Generate and release engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with supplier teams to procure materials and components.
- Finalize design, build, test, and deliver components to the vehicle.
- Generate test and analysis reports to provide complete component verification.
- Conduct first-order analyses of potential in-house and vendor designs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion and fluid analysis.
- Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components.
- Experience with structural and fluid design and analysis of piping systems.
- Proficiency in analysis tools such as ANSYS.
- Experience interpreting and generating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Familiarity with creating fabrication and installation drawings using ProEngineer/Creo.
