Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers for the preparation and launch of the New Glenn vehicle.
- Become the subject matter expert on vehicle stage delivery and countdown operations.
- Coordinate activities of engineers, technicians, and support equipment for testing and launch.
- Develop and manage mechanical system requirements, procedures, budgets, and schedules.
- Work with design engineers to plan and perform tests of ground and vehicle subsystems.
- Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
- Solve real-time issues with ground and onboard flight systems in high-pressure situations.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Science, or Math.
- 3+ years of technical expertise in aerospace flight and ground support systems.
- 2+ years of field operations experience as a Test Conductor or Test Engineer.
- Experience with ordnance safety and Range Safety personnel.
- Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to support occasional off-shift work schedules.
- Preferred experience in control room operations and writing technical procedures.
