Responsibilities
- Develop spacecraft thermal control systems for lunar landers.
- Create component specifications and test plans.
- Conduct thermal analysis and develop long-term plans.
- Collaborate with Thermal Engineers and Analysts on multiple lander generations.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace hardware verification and validation processes.
- Build and test thermal hardware components.
- Maintain professional relationships with team members and partners.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Thermal Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of thermal fundamentals and spacecraft thermal hardware.
- Experience in building and testing hardware.
- Familiarity with thermal control hardware and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and uncertain environment.
- Strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
