Responsibilities
- Develop thermal control systems for lunar landers.
- Collaborate with NASA and National Team Partners on the Human Landing System program.
- Define and execute test plans for thermal components.
- Create component specifications and development plans.
- Work with a team of Thermal Engineers and Analysts.
- Conduct thermal analysis and manage hardware verification processes.
- Maintain positive relationships and trust with team members and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Thermal Engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of thermal fundamentals and spacecraft thermal hardware.
- Experience in building and testing hardware.
- Familiarity with aerospace hardware verification and validation processes.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
- Desired: M.S. or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
